Privacy Policy

FitPlug is in early access. Features, data handling and this policy may change as the Service develops; we'll update this page when they do.

• Account info: email, username and password (stored as a secure hash, never in plain text).
• Profile info you provide: display name, bio, profile photo, links, country, city and state.
• Content you create: closet items and photos, posts, outfits, collections, cards and wear logs.
• Social activity: who you follow and who follows you, likes, comments and messages you send.
• Marketplace info: your listings, orders, shipping addresses (ship-from for sellers, ship-to for buyers), package details, tracking and claims.
• Sign-in and security data: login sessions, the device type and IP address used to sign in, and failed sign-in attempts (kept up to 30 days to stop password guessing).

Payments and seller payouts are processed by Stripe. Card details are entered on Stripe's secure pages and are never stored by FitPlug. Sellers give their identity and bank or debit card details directly to Stripe during payout setup. FitPlug receives order amounts, fees and payout status from Stripe so it can run the marketplace.

• To run the Service: show your closet, profile, posts and listings to the people you choose, and send messages.
• To process orders: take payment, buy shipping labels, show tracking, pay sellers and handle claims.
• To keep accounts secure: sign-in sessions, password resets, email verification and rate limits.
• To send account emails, such as password reset links and email confirmation.
• To improve the Service during early access.

• Other members, according to your settings. Private accounts are visible only to approved followers. Listings are public.
• The other side of an order: sellers see the buyer's name and shipping address so they can ship; buyers see the seller's username and tracking.
• Service providers who help us run FitPlug: DigitalOcean (hosting and storage), Stripe (payments and payouts), EasyPost and the shipping carriers (rates, labels and tracking), and our email provider (account emails).
• Authorities, when required by law or to protect members and the Service.
• We don't sell your personal information.

• You can delete your account at any time in Account → Privacy & security.
• Deleting your account removes your profile, closet, posts, messages, listings, saved addresses and uploaded files.
• Records of completed orders are kept, without your account, where we need them for payments, tax or legal reasons.

You can view and edit your information in Settings, delete your content, and delete your account. For anything else, including a copy of your data, contact us. See also our Terms of Service.
